Finding settings
Search, the Modified, Problems and Restart required filters, the outline, and Jump to section on phones.
The editor shows every setting a plugin shares with ComfiConf, grouped into sections. Each row shows the
setting's label, its key path in mono (for example settings.prefix), the plugin's description, and its value.
Four tools help you find a setting quickly.
Search
Type into Search settings by name, description or key. The editor keeps only the settings whose label, description or key matches. Clear the search with Clear search or Esc.
If nothing matches, the editor says No settings match followed by your search, and suggests searching by the setting's key instead. The key is the name you would see in the plugin's YAML file.
Filters
Next to the search field, three filter buttons show only some settings. Each one shows how many settings it matches.
| Filter | Shows |
|---|---|
| Modified | Settings you changed, new list entries, and reordered lists |
| Problems | Settings with an error to fix before you can apply |
| Restart required | Settings that take effect only after a server restart |
Filters combine: with Modified and Problems both on, you see settings that are modified or have a problem. The search then narrows that list further. Restart required appears only when the plugin has such settings, and on narrow screens it reads Restart.
When no setting matches, choose Clear filters or Clear search.
The outline
On wider screens, the Outline beside the editor lists the sections and, under each list, its entries. Each item shows how many changes and problems it holds. Choose an item to jump to it. Long lists show their first 12 entries in the outline, then a count of the rest.
Use Expand all and Collapse all above the editor to open or close every section at once.
Jump to section on phones
On narrow screens the outline is hidden. Use the Jump to section menu above the editor instead.
Settings that are hidden on purpose
Some settings appear only while another setting has a certain value, for example announcement channels that matter only while announcements are on. Such a row says why it is shown, for example Shown because Announce redemptions is on. If a problem sits in a hidden setting, the editor tells you which setting to change to show it.
Tabs for plugins with several settings pages
A plugin can share more than one settings page, for example one per configuration file. The editor then shows a tab for each page. Every page is reviewed and applied on its own.
