Pair your server
Connect your server to your account once, with a one-time code from /comficonf pair.
Pairing links your server to your ComfiConf account. You do it once per server: the bridge remembers the pairing across restarts and updates.
Ask the server for a code
Run
/comficonf pairin the console, or in game as an operator. The bridge replies with a pairing code of 8 characters, such asK7QX-M2PD, and the address to enter it at. In game, you can click the code to copy it.Open the pairing page
Open app.comficonf.com/pair, or choose Pair a server on the website.
Enter the code
Type the code into Pairing code. Upper or lower case and the dash do not matter, and pasting works too. Optionally fill in Display name (optional); without it, ComfiConf uses the name from the bridge's
config.yml.Pair the server
Choose Pair server. ComfiConf confirms that the server is paired and opens its server page, which lists the plugins on it that support ComfiConf.
Pairing code: K7QX-M2PD
Enter it at https://app.comficonf.com/pair within 10 minutes (expires at 18:42 UTC).
Only you can see this code. It works once.About the code
- A code works once and expires after 10 minutes. Run
/comficonf pairagain for a new one. - Only the person who ran the command sees it. Do not post it in chat or in a screenshot.
- Codes never contain
0,1,I,LorO, so they cannot be confused with each other. If the page says Codes never contain 0, 1, I, L or O., check the characters you typed.
After pairing
Back in the console, /comficonf status now shows Connected and paired and the
server's name. The server appears under Your servers on the website.
A server belongs to one account. To move it to another account, remove it on the website (see
Rename and remove) and pair it again from the other account. If
/comficonf pair says the server is already paired, it is still paired with an
account.
If pairing fails, see Pairing problems.
