Configuration
The two optional settings in plugins/ComfiConf/config.yml.
The bridge connects to ComfiConf at app.comficonf.com with nothing to set up. On first start it creates
plugins/ComfiConf/config.yml with two optional settings.
# Name suggested for this server when it is paired (1 to 64 characters).
# It can be renamed on the website afterwards.
server-name: "Minecraft Server"
# Logs the type and request id of every message exchanged with ComfiConf.
# Configuration values, keys and pairing codes are never logged.
debug: false| Setting | Default | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
server-name | Minecraft Server | Name suggested when pairing; rename it on the website later |
debug | false | Logs message types, never values, keys or codes |
Run /comficonf reconnect after editing the file.
server-name
The name ComfiConf gives the server when you pair it, unless you enter a Display name (optional) on the pairing page. Changing it later does not rename a paired server; use Rename on the server page instead.
debug
With debug: true, the bridge writes a line to the server log for every message it exchanges with ComfiConf,
with the message's type and request id. Configuration values, keys and pairing codes are never logged, with or
without debug. Turn it on only while you look into a problem, because it makes the log longer.
Other files in the folder
The bridge also keeps identity.json in plugins/ComfiConf. It identifies this server to ComfiConf and holds
the server's private key, which never leaves the server. Keep the file when you
update the bridge, and never copy it to another server: two servers with the same identity
replace each other's connection.
